Intimate London Town Hall Wedding

If you know our work by now, you’ll know that small town hall weddings are my true love. Of course every wedding, venue and day is so gorgeous, but there’s something about intimate weddings at town halls that really truly feel like the couple are doing their wedding their way.
Grace & Harriet’s day was just this, a gorgeous small wedding that felt truly personal to them as a couple.

They picked Marylebone Town Hall for their ceremony, arriving together, making their own wedding flowers and feeling excited & giddy together whilst they got a taxi to their wedding. They then chose to walk themselves in to their ceremony, individually one after another, and that felt so powerful and just stunning.

The ceremony was gorgeous with a small room full of guests that obviously loved them!

After the ceremony we had a small amount of time in Town Hall to get a few portraits before being welcomed out onto the steps with lots of cheers and much confetti.
After the group photos on the steps I then went on the underground with the Wedding party whilst Grace and Harriet took a taxi to meet us at the near by tube station near the reception venue. This was such a lovely idea for the two Brides to have some time alone and we got some cute photos on the underground of their friends and loved ones too.

After we took some photos around Maida Vale Station we walked over to the wedding reception venue, which was a gorgeous London pub which was perfect for this gorgeous LGBTQ+ wedding.

The pub was a great space, using downstairs for cake cutting, some speeches and welcome drinks as well as getting the party started later in the evening. Upstairs was a gorgeous area for seating with their guests for dinner and sharing some toasts and speeches.

After food and cake was eaten it was time to get the party started, which was so fun. I usually find half and hour to an hour of party and dancing coverage works really well for finishing your gallery off with some dancing shots and ending the day with some fun and silly moves.
