Wales Beach Proposal

Meeting gorgeous couples and lovers and being able to follow their important moments through photography seems so special for us, and honestly is such a wonderful connection we’re able to make with other LGBTQ+ folk.
I first shot with Mark & Cory in Oxford for a small couples shoot, as a little present and surprise to Cory, it was a gorgeous sunset shoot and honestly we just had the best time getting to know each other and chatting about their relationship.

Fast forward a few months later and I got a message from Cory and this time the surprise would be for Mark, as he was planning to proposal to Mark whilst on a little trip away in Wales.
With some logistics and many messages later, we made it happen!

April did the main hiding and shooting for this one, as they’d both met me before I couldn’t just rock up and be a random tourist with a camera (which tends to work for most proposals) This worked so well and Mark had no idea April was taking their photo whilst Cory proposed.

Cory made up a gorgeous little basket for Mark, with things from their relationship that was important to them or a cute moments to back on through their love. It ended with a book that Cory had wrote, it was so gorgeous and as Mark was making their way through it, Cory got down on one knee and proposed.

Of course Mark said yes and then both April and I could get a little closer and make our self known, sharing a some fizz with them whilst they celebrated and got ready to have a few more shots on the beach to end this gorgeous proposal session.

We had the best time on the beach, running around and jumping into the rock pools, kissing and hugging whilst they held hands and felt amazing about being ENAGYED!
Sharing proposals and these moments with our couples are so amazing, I feel so lucky to do this as a job, and be able to be part of this gorgeous LGBTQ+ love and connection.
