Romantic Lesbian Cotswold Wedding

Emma & Holly got married at Hyde House in the Cotswolds, a venue I had on my bucket for so long and my gosh it was so gorgeous.
This gorgeous romantic lesbian Cotswold Wedding was such a gorgeous day full of much love and laughter, the sun shone bright and it was such a beautiful day for these two Newlyweds.

Although Hyde House only has one getting ready room, it was the perfect space to start with prep photos for Emma (whilst my second shooter was elsewhere with Holly). It was such a laidback morning with her close friends & family, and really set her up perfectly to see Holly for the first time down the aisle.

The wedding itself was located in The Grange at Hyde House, a gorgeous location that over looks the rolling hills. Holly walked down with her Dad, whilst an amazing saxophone player worked her magic, and then followed Emma walking down with her Dad. These moments were so gorgeous and special to capture. The Grange is light and airy with a barn feel with exposed beams, it’s really lovely for the ceremony and we even popped back later in the day whilst photographing couples portraits too.

All day photography is really such a wonderful way to capture your day, fully from prep to party, but it also allows me to make such a connection with my couples to. Being together most of the day it’s really important to feel comfortable with your photographer, and honestly I adore my couples and leave the Wedding feeling like I’ve made new friends and been able to photograph this authentically gorgeous important story of their wedding day.

After the ceremony Holly & Emma had a confetti exit which is always so fun and makes for some gorgeous photos.
Drinks and much chat then started in The Barn, which was a gorgeous space close to the bar with a lovely outside area, and the sun was shining so it was great to see people outside and be able to photograph candids too.

Before the guests took their seats for dinner, food time is always the best time if you ask me (!!!) we had a little wander around the grounds of Hyde House. Couples portraits is no doubt one of my favourite times of the day, having the time away from guests which can be overwhelming, this time helps you connect with your partner again and just catch up. I love doing this really documentary and authentically, letting the couple just have some time together whilst gently directing, the moments I capture at this time are honestly so beautiful.

A few speeches later and the dancing started, a quick cake cut before the party got started. Being able to photograph prep to party really is so fun when you get to the dancing and seeing everyone’s moves. I love making my party and evening shots feel really fun and vibey with direct flash.

Huge thanks to Emma & Holly for letting my photograph your gorgeous Cotswold Wedding
