Oxfordshire Garden Wedding
During the pandemic I have seen some gorgeous Weddings, smaller ones, intimate ones, venues with less people or places not usually used for Weddings filled with love and laughter.
This Oxfordshire LGBTQ+ Garden Wedding was the perfect way to celebrate, filled with so much Queer love, friends and family, to celebrate Becks & Ellie.
Using Becks family home, in the Oxfordshire Countryside, was the perfect place to host this wonderfully DIY garden Wedding. With friends and family helping out with flowers, the ceremony, entertainment and even the running of the day. Everything came together so perfectly for these two.
After an afternoon ceremony with guests sitting on hay bales, much singing and gorgeous readings, the couple celebrated with much prosecco and hugging friends- something we’ve not been able to do properly for such a long time. The garden was the perfect backdrop for the group photos, as well as some of just Becks and Ellie too. LGBTQ+ couples are my favourite to photograph, and when I get to shoot a Wedding it really fills my heart. I felt emotional and overjoyed to be able to be involved with such an amazing celebration.
The evening started with amazing speeches, amazing food platters and as the light disappeared, the dancing started. First with a Ceilidh dance which was much fun, even just watching, and then onto the silent disco, which of course I had to get involved with.
I am always for couples doing their Wedding their own way, be that where, how or who are involved. it’s your day, your love story and your life together as a couple. Celebrate the right way for you!
