Colourful LGBTQ+ Wedding
This colourful and joyful LGBTQ+ Wedding inspiration shoot is one of my favourites…. ever
This gorgeous shoot was located at The Mount Without, a stunning building, that used to be a Church and is now available for any Weddings and events. There’s something empowering about overtaking an old Church with a Queer Wedding.
The love that flowed through Dan & Rhys was just so amazing to see, capturing such stunning and special moments, whilst dressed in their best.
The styling and set up was all about brights, fun and joyous tones. Mixing pinks and reds, brights and pastels, with lots of texture and a mix of disco balls….of course.
The venue worked so well with these brighter tones, being such a great backdrop to really be able to showcase this. As well as the stunning stain glass windows standing out and fitting in.
The outfits stayed more muted, to allow for the whole styling and setup to work together well. The lighter floral suit that Dan wore blended in the different colours as well as easily being able to add an alternative edge with the Dr Martens.
Rhys looked stunning in the glitter blazer, whilst going for heels. As a Drag Queen, it was important for Rhys to add in their own style and personality within this shoot, whilst matching Dan with the white shoes.
We went for two bouquets for the couple, although Rhys also wore a button hole. Remember flowers are for everyone, and look so amazing to bring colours and styles together.
This inspirational shoot really got me excited for Weddings that really focus on love, the love story and what you want from your day. Your day, your rules.
